I am currently a Master’s student in Statistics at UC Berkeley. I graduated from University of Virginia in May 2015 with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. I have accumulated experience on analyzing data through coursework and internships. I interned at China Life Insurance Company and Beijing Lerui Asset Management in the summers of 2014 and 2015. I have taken courses on Linear Models, Time Series and Machine Learning. Software and languages I have used include R, Python, Stata and Java. I also gained experience in organizing and publicizing events through leading roles of clubs and organizations. I was the chapter president for Dream Corps International at University of Virginia, an organization that helps underprivileged kids and promotes reading in the rural areas of China. I developed good communication, negotiation and team work skills. I am able to fit into new environment quickly. I have strong learning capability and passion for work, and complete assigned work carefully and responsibly.
