The Undergraduate Program

The quality and dedication of our teaching staff and faculty are extremely high. A major in Statistics from Berkeley is an excellent preparation for a career in science, in industry, or as a preparation for further academic study in a wide variety of fields. It is also very useful to combine studies of statistics and probablity with other subjects. Facilitating such cross-fertilization is one of the strengths of the department, and roughly half of our undergraduate students are double or even triple majors.
