Actor Rainn Wilson Celebrates 2020 Graduates with Surprise Video Message!
Actor/comedian Rainn Wilson surprised the Class of 2020 with a video message on the Statistics Department's Graduation Tribute that went live on You Tube Friday, June 5th at noon PST.
Rainn Wilson is most well known for his three-time Primetime Emmy nominated performance portraying the character of Dwight Schrute on the hit television series, The Office. He has also appeared in numerous film and television shows including Star Trek: Discovery, Six Feet Under, Transformers: Revemge of the Fallen, and The Meg, and voiced animated characters such as Gallaxar in Monsters vs. Aliens, Gargamel in The Smurfs, and Lex Luther in the most recent animated Superman movies from DC. He is also an author and businessman, co-founding Soulpancake, a digital multi-media company that creates content to explore life’s big questions, celebrate humanity and champion creativity which was featured on Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sundays. In 2013 he co-founded Lide Haiti, an educational initiative that uses arts and literacy to empower adolescent girls in rural Haiti.
