Statistics Students Win Top Prizes at Berkeley Datathon

Students at the Datathon

On Friday, February 10 at the Berkeley Datathon, students from various disciplines worked in small groups to analyze data relating to San Francisco public transit and housing prices, in an event generously sponsored by Citadel in partnership with Correlation One. Congratulations to the first place team, consisting of two of our PhD students Sören Künzel and Jake Soloff, undergraduate Allen Tang, and Eric Munsing (PhD, ECIC). They will share a $20K prize. Congratulations also to undergraduate Raj Agrawal, who was part of the second place team and will share a $5K prize with his teammates.
