Industry Alliance Program
The Berkeley Statistics Industry Alliance Program (IAP) establishes strong connections with companies engaged in statistical research, data analysis, and machine learning. The program connects its industry members to state-of-the-art research and some of the top talent in statistics. The Statistics Department thrives on exposure to the newest problems and values the exciting career opportunities our allies provide our students.
Benefits of Berkeley Statistics Industry Alliance Program membership include participation in research program workshops and industry-oriented events such as our annual Berkeley Statistics Annual Research Symposium (BSTARS), named research fellowships, student recruitment activities, and many other opportunities to connect with our community of distinguished faculty, students, researchers, and alums. Donations are tax-deductible.
Become a Gold Member
The suggested donation amount for membership is $50,000. The benefits include:
- Opportunity for recognition through a named fellowship
- Recognition on the Statistics department website, newsletter, social media, and communication channels
- Recognition, preferred access, and priority admission at the Berkeley Statistics Annual Research Symposium (BSTARS)
- Work with faculty, students, and staff to create other various programming opportunities such as boot camps, workshops, seminars, and more

The suggested donation to become a Silver Member is $5,000. The benefits include:
- Recognition on the Statistics department website, newsletter, social media, and communication channels
- Work directly with staff to organize info-session/recruiting events
- event advertised through department newsletters, social media, and official email lists
- event advertised to other colleges, departments, and units as available
- Opportunities listed in the opt-in jobs recruiting email list and closed alum LinkedIn group
- Jobs/internships will be linked in “opportunities” in the monthly eNews digest (3K+alums, affiliates)
- Access to resume book of graduate students
