I received my Ph.D. in Statistics in 2012 from the University of Padua in Italy under the supervision of Monica Chiogna (co-supervised by Sandrine Dudoit and Chiara Romualdi), with the Thesis “Simultaneous Inference for RNA-Seq data”. I was a Visiting Student Researcher in the Division of Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley from Fall 2010 to Spring 2011.
